Chief of Staff

Come join a team of Mavericks! We are looking for a strategic, entrepreneurial Chief of Staff to act as our company’s senior strategic operations leader. The Chief of Staff will report directly to Maverick’s President, Lowell Hays, and will play a crucial role in driving the growth of the business forward.

We envision this role being a jumping-off point for a future career in Product Management, Strategic Finance, or Internal Operations within 6-12 months of joining.

Maverick has a proven track record of placing high performers from management consulting firms and Fortune 500 companies into expanded leadership roles with significant responsibility and empowering them to contribute from day one.

Ideal for someone with an appetite for new challenges, specific projects you will be involved in range from:

Product

  • Creating business cases for new product development
  • Supporting new product roadmap development

Sales

  • Developing new market entry strategies
  • Building sales segmentation and data infrastructure to better target potential customers
  • Analyzing sales performance for insights to drive higher win rates analytical insights to enable rapid growth

Operations & Finance

  • Driving annual budgeting and managing monthly forecast adjustments

The role will be remote, although travel to cities including Atlanta, Nashville, and Austin for in-person meetings may be required from time-to-time.

Preferred Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in consulting, high-growth companies/startups, investment banking, or rotational leadership program
  • Demonstrated ability to work with team members in a hands-on capacity.
